West Brom have allowed Saido Berahino move from the club to Stoke City in a reported £12 million move.

The player took to the basketball court upon leaving the Hawthorns training facility. The player posted a video of himself practising his basketball skills online after the deal to the Potters was completed.

The player is actually as good in the popular American game as he is at football. He kept on getting the hoops, racking up a high score. The 23-year old football star might actually do well in basketball with dedication.

West Brom had to entertain lots of meetings with Stoke before they finalised the deal for the player. They settled after an initial failure to agree on a £6 million bid plus add-ons. Berahino’s deal with the Albion was set to lapse at the end of the season but they opted to release him now for £12 million.

Club chair John Williams agreed for a fee of £12 million but with time, depending on number of games player, trophies won and senior appearances, the figure could rise by an extra £3 million.

The striker agreed to City’s five year deal and he says he is keen to prove to be good business when he gets his chance. The club still has a few attacking options that would have to work with Berahino to perfect their plans.

In other news Stoke let Joel Taylor leave on a loan deal for the rest of the campaign, reports say.

The versatile youngster played in the EFL Cup after coming through from the academy but the club wants him to go and develop before returning. Stoke loaned him to League One outfit Rochdale.

“I’m very excited to be playing under Keith Hill, who is a great manager. I know that he puts his trust in young players, so I feel like he’ll put his trust in me and I will repay him,” Berahino said.
